Little House Playschool is a happy place that invites exploration, nurtures play and ignites creative thinking. We’re fortunate to have a beautiful tree-lined playground and a lovely light-filled classroom. And a highly experienced, immensely talented, totally silly teaching team.

As usual, the Teacher Work Day kids have the run of the school:  large tree-lined playground, gobs of art supplies, imaginative play, magna tiles and legos, “loose parts” for building forts, flashlight games during Daylight Savings, board games, rain, grass, dirt, mud…. Plus, of course, Rainbow Streamer Hot Lava Dance Parties.

Campers might choose to sew doll clothes from felt, build a fort with bamboo, work with other campers to create and perform a show, work on a creative writing project, play a board game, or lie on their backs and look for shapes in the clouds. Activities will be child-directed and teacher-supported. And each camp day there will also be some teacher-lead games and activities available for those who are interested.
