Our day

Below is our morning routine. Schedules are structured, but flexible, so as to follow the interests of the children and to take advantage of spontaneous experiences. And to take advantage of beautiful weather! Any time the weather is nice, we extend our outside play time. And bring snack and lunch outside as well!

8:30- 9:45 Exploring Time and Art Table- inside
9:45- 10:00 Clean up and wash hands
10:00-10:15 Circle time
10:15-10:40 Snack
10:40-11:45 Outside time
11:45- 12:30 Lunch and quiet time.

A note about art:day

Our emphasis is on process, not product. Children at this age are more interested in exploring different textures and media than creating an artistic masterpiece suitable for the Louvre or even the refrigerator.
